Announcing ... Camille Bourguignon--Teacher of the Year
for Reedy Creek Elementary in Charlotte, NC!
Our own iPad PLN friend and colleague, Camille Bourguignon, received super recognition and honor when she was chosen to be "Teacher of the Year" by her colleagues at Reedy Creek Elementary. Here's what Camille's school says about her:
"Let's all congratulate Camille Bourguignon our ESL teacher, who has been named Reedy Creek's Teacher of the Year! Ms. Bourguignon works very closely with our students to support them in many ways. Her enthusiasm, her innovativeness, and her dedication to making the curriculum relevant to the lives of her students, is simply exemplary. Her flexibility in working with all students, teachers, and the community has earned her a reputation as an excellent teacher who truly cares about all students. One of her most impressive characteristics is her ability to connect and motivate some of our most hard to reach students. She goes above and beyond for all the students at Reedy Creek Elementary School. She has made such a positive impact on so many students and is deserving of this honor.
We are happy to have her as part of the “creek” family and we are very proud of her!"

Camille will go on to represent her school for the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools District Teacher of the Year.
